Vantage has extensive project experience and we provide the following list as a brief synopsis of our capabilities:

Having completed well over 300 well tie-in and pipeline projects, Vantage Engineering is knowledgeable in sweet and sour, oil and gas well, including water handling and enhanced oil recovery. We are familiar with steel, polyethylene, composites, and fiberglass pipe, and can customize solutions in order to best meet your project needs and expectations. In order to maximize efficiency, we have developed an extensive collection of standardized drawings and contracts.

Historical Project: Dual Zone Well Tie In

• Performed complete pipeline design.
• Completed specifications and procurement of line pipe, tank / separator and Dual Wet Meter package.
• Provided complete drafting services, including P&ID, Plot Plan, piping drawings including bill of materials.
• Responsible for regulatory licensing and notifications for pipeline and multi-well gas battery.
• Coordinated tie-in agreement and construction contracts, including generating construction packages.

Historical Project: Sweet Service Compressor Station

• Performed process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering design for compressor station with capacity of 3.5 mmscfd, including electrical controls, instrumentation and lighting.
• Performed civil design of foundations for compressor and additional equipment.
• Completed sizing, specifications and procurement of 530 BHP compressor, 16" TEG dehydrator, produced water tank and dual-vessel inlet separator
• Provided complete drafting services, including P&ID, Plot Plan, piping drawings including bill of materials.
• Responsible for regulatory licensing and notifications for pipeline and multi-well gas battery.
• Generated construction packages.

Historical Project: Compressor and Skid Modification

• Performed review of outsourced vibration study suggesting modifications to compressor package in order to eliminate severe vibrations.
• Visited site to evaluate equipment and options for repair.
• Generated list of new recommendations, including skid and foundation modifications and suction piping redesign to eliminate cause of vibrations.

Historical Project: Compressor Noise Reduction

• Effectively reduced noise levels at existing gas plant, including attenuating noise at compressor from 93 dBA to 72 dBA and at aerial cooler from 89 dBA to 71 dBA (existing requirement of 85 dBA).
• Performed acoustical engineering, facilitating sound deadening baffles to absorb noise generated.
• Conducted review of results with public.

Historical Project: Coalbed Methane Padsite Facilities Design and Installation

• Completed preliminary design and cost estimating.
• Performed process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering design for temporary well test facilities, including all procurement and management of construction and installations.
• Responsible for regulatory licensing and notifications.
• Participated in public open house.
• Performed detailed design, procurement and construction management for permanent production facilities, including sales gas pipeline, compression, and on-site produced water disposal.

Historical Project: Natural Gas Sweetening Plant

• Performed process, mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation engineering design of a sweetening plant in Northern BC, including amine sweetening package.
• Completed sizing, specifications and procurement of 18" OD TEG dehydrator, 180 BHP compressor, condensate flash vessel, high and low pressure flare system including 100' high acid gas incinerator and MCC package.
• Performed design of pipeline from facility to tie-in.
• Performed civil / structural design of foundations for compressor and additional equipment.
• Provided complete drafting services, including P&ID, Plot Plan and all civil / structural drawings.
• Generated construction packages.

Historical Project: CO₂ Removal Plant

• Performed structural engineering and design of interconnecting pipeline for a two-train CO₂ removal plant in Western Australia.
• Provided structural design of three story steel structure and pipe rack capable of supporting a sweetening facility and all interconnecting piping, able to withstand cyclones and category 4 earthquakes.
• Provided complete drafting services, including general arrangement drawings and detailed isometrics for all interconnecting piping.
• Completed design and drafting for all interconnecting piping between modularized plant components and vessels, including 3D modeling via Cadworx.
• Performed piping stress analysis employing CAESAR II software package.
• Generated complete bid package for structural fabrication.

Historical Project: Acid Gas Injection Project

• Performed process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering design for acid gas injection project in southern Alberta.
• Completed extensive process modeling to specify chiller system for the removal of liquids from the acid gas stream before injection.
• Performed civil design of foundations for compressor and additional equipment.
• Performed design of pipeline from facility to acid gas injection well.
• Completed sizing, specifications and procurement of compressor and chiller.
• Provided complete drafting services, including P&ID, Plot Plan, piping drawings including bill of materials.
• Generated construction packages.

Historical Project: Hydrocarbon Liquids Recovery

• Performed process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering design for liquid removal from pipeline gas using turbo expander technology.
• Conducted all required drafting and procurement measures.
• Responsible for regulatory licensing and notifications.
• Participated in teaming agreement with construction company to facilitate installations, commissioning and start-up.
• Generated construction packages, databooks and quality control manuals.

Historical Project: Sour Oil Battery

• Responsible for the design and drafting of a sour oil battery facility from an out-of-service gas plant, utilizing existing inlet separator, utilities, and control and shutdown systems.
• Completed procurement and installation of oil treater and tankage with vapor recovery unit.
• Responsible for converting all existing pipeline plus procurement and installation of new piping.
• Modified existing flare system.
• Responsible for regulatory licensing and notifications.
• Coordinated construction, commissioning and start-up.
• Generated construction packages, databooks and quality control manuals.

Historical Project: Existing Oil Battery Upgrades

• Performed major renovations to existing oil battery to improve capacity, accuracy of measurement and control systems, and increase efficiency of water handling system.
• Responsible for design, drafting, procurement and coordination of installation of new flare system, instrumentation air system, and water injection skid with pumps, filter, metering and controls.
• Replaced all tank farm piping.
• Responsible for regulatory licensing and notifications.
• Coordinated construction, commissioning and start-up.
